Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actress from America. Born March 27, 1970, she is 5'9 tall. Her most well-known role is for her role as Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC's Lost television show as well as FBI Agent Erica Evans in V. Gia. Mitchell currently co-stars in Eric Kripke's TV series Revolution airing on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) and her mother are both lawyers from Dallas. Mitchell, her mother and two children moved from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother was married in the year 1975. Mitchell was in the school of Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, TX. The school is a private Magnet School. Mitchell is the oldest sister out of the three sisters, alongside Kristina Kristie Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. She graduated in 1991 of Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and furthering her studies at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years in Dallas Theater Center and a year in the Encore Theater.
