Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953 was an American actor from America. She is well-known for playing Lieutenant Sheba from the 1978-1979 television show Battlestar Galactica. She is the daughter of actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Her professional journey began early. She played her first part at the age of four for T is for Tumbleweed. There is a chance that one of her agents turned it down on her behalf, without notifying her. Glen Larson sent her an early draft of a script that she was to use as the role of a character on 1978's TV show Battlestar Galactica. The actress initially refused the part due to the fact that her character wasn't strong. Later Glen wrote a new part exclusively for her featuring an even stronger character called Sheba. She accepted the Living Legend script after reading the first 25 pages. The show ran for a single season. She co-starred in Joyride alongside Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
